Today was a holiday called 海の日(umi no hi) in Japan, which translates to Ocean Day. It's pretty much a day that marks the beginning of beach season.. so everyone goes to the beach! Unfortunately Meiji Gakuin University did not close for the holiday so I had lessons. On the bright side though, today was the last Monday of the semester!
This is a picture of one of my Japanese teachers.. Nakayama Sensei. Our class nicknamed her 'bear lady' because for a majority of the semester we had to write a report, write a speech, give a speech, do homework, discussions, basically everything in class was somehow related to bears..

Sitting in the shade with our friends Rei and Aki. We hadn't seen them in awhile since 4th year students in Japanese university rarely come to school (usually they already have all the credit they need to graduate so there is no point for them to attend lectures) it was nice to hang out with them again!
Had to give presentations on our projects/reports in Art History class today.. the classroom is always so warm and the teacher tends to go off on tangents so it's hard to stay awake sometimes..
Didn't nap today though! We just took pictures..
